Ray Burnett
Ray Burnett CPA is a native of this area of Florida. He has practiced as a CPA for forty years. He specializes in handling your tax worries so you don’t have to! A graduate of the University of Florida in 1977, Ray prepares both simple and complicated tax returns for clients all over the world from simple 1040’s to complicated multi-entity tax structures.
He has extensive experience in retiree accounts, estates and trusts, foundations and other not-for-profits, construction entities, oil and gas, multi-state taxation, all entity types. There is no tax situation too difficult for him.
He also prepares financial statements for bonding companies. Ray has experience in litigation support and has represented many clients in court.
Ray lives in Laurel Park in Downtown Sarasota. He has two grown children and one granddaughter.
Linda Gabriel
Linda is a seasoned CPA with a rich background in public accounting, having started her career at prestigious firms like Arthur Andersen & Co., Ernst & Young, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her contributions include in-depth research and publications on topics like expatriate payroll tax issues and the applicability of IRC Sec. 382 to tax-exempt entities, making her a valuable asset to our team.
In addition to her public accounting experience, Linda has also made significant contributions in the private industry. She has held roles such as Director of Corporate Taxes for a group of manufacturing corporations and Controller for various companies, including an electrical contractor, electronic security monitoring service, property management firm, and a multi-location restaurant.
Linda’s comprehensive experience in both public accounting and private industry brings a unique skill set and perspective to our CPA firm.
Linda has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida, and previously an Instructor at Iowa State University, where she taught financial, managerial, and tax accounting courses.
Jason Burnett
Jason Burnett has ten years of experience in public accounting. He has learned the business from the ground up. A graduate of the State College of Florida, Jason prepares tax returns, bookkeeping, and helps the firm utilize technology to make the process easier for clients and for the firm.
